Bill Gates spoke about search technologies

Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft, at the annual summit of the executive directors of American companies shared his plans for the development of search technology corporations.

According to Gates, now the time has come when companies need to revise the concepts underlying the processes of employee interaction with corporate data. The constant increase in the volume of digital information leads to the fact that it is becoming more and more difficult for users to find the document of interest to them not only on the Internet, but even on the local network. As a result, the efficiency of the labor process decreases, which, in turn, leads to an increase in costs.

To help with this, according to the founder of Microsoft, a fundamentally new means of corporate search should. Microsoft, in particular, is working on a universal Windows Live Search system, which will allow you to search for information both on the Internet and on the local network, as well as on personal computer drives. Such a system should have a simple and at the same time functional interface and, in addition, provide the ability to protect corporate data from unauthorized access.
