A special committee on electronic commerce has been created at the National Association of Electronic Commerce Participants (NAUET), which will deal with the development of Internet trade (B2C segment). Pavel Vrublevsky, General Director of ChronoPay CJSC, was appointed Chairman of the Committee .
As follows from the NAUET press release, the committee was created to improve legislation governing the field of online trading and ensuring consumer rights in electronic commerce, intellectual property rights and collective rights management, improving the legislative regulation of electronic payment systems and the use of plastic cards. In addition, the committee will develop measures to combat fraud in the field of electronic commerce and develop proposals to improve information security and ensure the confidentiality of personal data in the field of electronic commerce.
