CES2015: Lenovo ThinkPad Line Update

    Lenovo at the Consumer Electronic Show announced the update of the space line of ThinkPad laptops : these are new laptops of the budget E and L series, as well as an updated version of the ThinkPad X1 Carbon.

    Models E450 and E550 have a display diagonal of 14 and 15 inches. The user can choose from HD and full HD anti-glare displays, HDD, hybrid drive or SSD, and RAM up to 16 GB. Laptops are based on the Intel Core processor. The laptops are equipped with Bluetooth 4.0, Ethernet (which is not available in Yoga ultrabooks), three USB ports, two of which are 3.0 and HDMI. The older model also has a D-Sub and a RealSense 3D camera. The cost of laptops of this series in the United States starts at $ 599.

    L450 display has a resolution of HD or full HD, improved viewing angle and color reproduction. All USB ports are version 3.0, there is a mini-DisplayPort port. Here, the user is prompted to choose from three battery options, the capacity of the most powerful of which is 72 watts-hours. The minimum cost of the ThinkPad E450 in the US is $ 699.

    The new X1 Carbon has a 14-inch touchscreen display with WQHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The user can choose from drives, the best of which is a 512 GB SSD with a PCIe interface. Ultrabook weighs less than 1.3 kg, while working up to 10.9 hours without recharging. X1 Carbon is based on the fifth generation Intel Core processor. Cost in the US starts at $ 1249, in Russia it will appear approximately in March this year.
