The British company Qinetiq, which develops in the field of defense and the aerospace industry, has introduced a unique mouse mat, which does not require a mouse to work with. To move the cursor, the user will just have to move his hand over the surface of the mat, the ingenious Qinetic invention will track the movements of the limb, and the cursor will get to the right place.

An unusual rug is equipped with a t-shaped set of emitters and sensors located close to each other. Each emitter emits an encoded signal that can only be recognized by the sensor attached to it, so the mat accurately determines the movements of the user's hand.

Moving the hand to the right, left, forward or backward will allow you to move the cursor, and more complex movements, such as quickly moving your palm in a circle, will be responsible for individual commands. For example, the software for the mat can be configured in such a way that if the user makes fast circular movements, you must turn off the computer.
