The open Doom beta version will be released on April 15

As we wrote earlier , the full version of the restart of the game Doom will appear in stores on May 13. A closed beta was released earlier , for Wolfenstein: The New Order buyers. And now id Software decided to release an open beta for everyone.

The beta version for all platforms, PS4, Xbox One and PC, will be available from April 15 and will be dedicated to multiplayer. It will be available two cards and two game modes, “team deathmatch” and “warpath”.

The game Doom 4, later renamed simply Doom, was born in agony from 2008, experienced several closings and discoveries of the project, and the departure of John Carmack, who decided to take up virtual reality. An early version of the game was demonstrated in 2014.
