Yesterday we delivered a new, interesting desktop about building rockets. This time it is small, cheap and quite simple, unlike the usual hardcore about space. Personally, with me it will be one of those games that should be taken on a trip in a backpack.
But let's start from the beginning. So, the country has commissioned you to build a rocket.
How to play
Inside the gift box there are 141 maps, of which 136 will be needed for the game. These are different materials for the construction of the rocket, components, astronauts, all sorts of events along the way of construction and engineers. The task, as usual - to collect from this the best set for a limited time.

In reality, the cards are a little different, it’s simplified
. For example, to assemble our rocket according to the “Fearless” drawing, you need 3 metals and 2 fuels. This is so she just got up.
The middle line is a test stand, we have to go through it to put the rocket on the launch pad. On the test can be a lot of missiles. We move the rocket in stages to get the finished product.
The top line, in fact, is the starting table. From there, after the countdown, the flight of the rocket will begin. In our example above, “Fast” is ready for flight, “Fasting” is being tested, and “Fearless” is only going. We have recruited staff: different specialists are needed for carrying out different works.
Players also have maps of “modes” - build in secrecy, build in “two corps per day” mode, and so on, they must also be skillfully used. Plus, missile improvements also add depth.
“After successfully completing the mission, the rocket will enter the upper layers of the atmosphere, where the hull will burn and large debris will enter the ocean. Astronauts ... Damn, astronauts! "
The strategy of the game is simple - you need to use your maps and knowledge of discrete mathematics (intuitive) to collect the best rockets. The trick is that if the prelaunch countdown starts too early, then those who collect big and reliable, will miss all the fun and lose the space race. On the other hand, for a small rocket can not get a lot of points. Therefore, it is necessary to balance, distributing components, specialists, resources and capabilities.
Well, do not forget, if you continue an astronaut, or, worse, plant an astronaut, and do not immerse oxygen, surprises await you.

The end of the game was made very unusual and beautiful from the point of view of mechanics. Each of the players in the course of the game can draw one of the four cards that make up the launch pad timer, like this:

Once this design has been assembled, the last move is the key to the start. And then - scoring: who has a rocket better, stronger, faster.

Naturally, if the players could not interact, it would have turned solitaire on discrete math. And so added diplomacy and the game "turn the neighbor."
