Get an offer in 1 day to the backend team on Cosmonautics Day

    Hello!

FunCorp continues to expand in Moscow: we are opening a new direction and are looking for Senior PHP and Senior Java developers in the backend team.

We really liked the format of the one-day Hiring event, which we held for the QA department on March 16, so we decided to hold a similar event for the backend.

So, the FunCorp Cosmic Hiring event will be held on April 12 (Friday) in the Moscow office. Link to the event.

    About the event:

Candidates who successfully complete the test task are invited to our Moscow office, for candidates not from Moscow tickets and a hotel are paid.

On the day of the event, we spend about 2-3 hours with each candidate: (0) Welcome part: 30 minutes, breakfast, HR story about the company, tour of the office, (1) interviews with team members and leaders, (2) interviews with members teams and head, (3) interviews with service stations. Finalists receive an offer.

    Spoiler test task:

Modern space satellites consist of many modules, developed independently and interacting with each other. It is necessary to develop a program for the control and communication module.

    The module receives:

    • a flight diagram in the form of a file immediately before launch
    • data on the functioning of other modules through a centralized REST API

    The module must transmit:

    • commands to all other ship systems
    • telemetry to Earth

A detailed description of the task on the landing page of the event.

    About the backend command:

Working in close conjunction with product managers and analysts, the backend team conducts experiments, introduces new functionality, improves metrics and, ultimately, brings joy to users.

    Technological stack:

    • monolithic business logic in PHP
    • microservices in Java / Kotlin
    • data storage in clusters MongoDB and Redis
    • online analytics based on ClickHouse cluster

Our applications seem simple - this is how it should be in FunTech. But under the hood we have: powerful technologies, modern solutions and methodologies that provide this ease. We use column and NoSQL databases, microservice architecture, orchestration and automatic horizontal scaling to serve more than four million people around the world daily, responding in peak to more than 25,000 queries per second. The analytics system receives and processes 8 billion events per day, allowing you to know everything about what is happening with our users, how improvements and changes are reflected in them.

The team is divided into dynamic cross-functional groups. We practice cross-code review, write tests and documentation, release new releases on weekdays, except Friday.

Our guys are fond of rafting and kayaking, tracking, sailing, team leader plays drums in a rock group, and the head is a yacht captain with experience in long-distance ocean trips.
