Below is a list of the most visited torrent sites for 2016. At the beginning of 2016, KickassTorrents was the leader, followed by The Pirate Bay torrent tracker. Much has happened lately, some torrent sites have disappeared, others have taken their place "under the sun."

The eztv.it domain name was put up for sale, scammers immediately successfully outbid it. Therefore, we note this torrent resource as a newly made one.
Something similar happened with the YTS / YIFY site of the torrent tracker. YTS / YIFY is a well-known release group and a popular torrent resource, appeared on the market in 2010, at first the release group uploaded torrents to PublicHD, KickassTorrents, 1337x, The Pirate Bay and ExtraTorrent. The first release of the group was the DVD-rip of animated films “Toy Story” (1, 2 part). For a year, the group worked for a reputation, after which it launched its YTS website. YIFY used to be called an unsinkable submarine. Since 2012, he has been steadily gaining search traffic. In October 2015, without explanation or reason, he went to the YTS offline site, behind which was the well-known release group YIFY. The MPAA (American Cinema Rating System) got to the group YIFI YTS, went to his operator, who lived in New Zealand, he was threatened with a lawsuit against millions of people, in case if he will not cooperate with the MPAA.
