Google receives patent for unmanned package delivery

The expected, but no less significant event occurred today in the field of using autonomous vehicles - Google issued a patent for an unmanned vehicle to deliver goods directly to the customer’s door. The car will be equipped with separate compartments, which can be opened using a personal identification number (PIN) or credit card. The only thing is whether it will be faster and cheaper than ordering on Amazon Prime Air or after Uber’s inevitable entry into the world of unmanned delivery.
The patent says that the car will use a combination of sensors: radars, video cameras and laser rangefinder modules, which will recognize what is happening on the road. When ordering goods, customers will be able to choose a way to unlock the compartment and even receive a message when the car arrives at their destination. If the truck suddenly gets stuck in traffic, a delay message will be sent to the buyer.
Most of the patent covers the maximum number of areas of activity. But Google does not just pay its lawyers. A car can use laptops, tablets, PDAs, televisions
