Bragi Dash smart wireless headphones appear in March

    Bragi did not deceive - Bragi Dash headphones should appear on sale in March of this year. From a purely conceptual design, the device has become a real gadget, a system that can be very useful to many. Let me remind you that initially the project received funding on Kickstarter - platform users allocated $ 3.39 million instead of the $ 260 thousand requested by the developers. Voting in rubles (or dollars in this case) was more than successful.

    Running headphones have already been shown at CES this year, where they were tested by the Medgadgets team. About what are headphones, you can see in the sequel.

    Features of Bragi Dash

    The system consists of two wireless headphones, which are connected not only with the paired device, but also with each other. You can use them in order to listen to music, talk on the phone, view your activity for the day.

    What's inside?
    • 4 GB of internal memory;
    • Touch pad to control device functions;
    • 3.5 hours of battery life;
    • standalone media player;
    • accelerometer;
    • heart rate sensor;
    • oximeter;
    • high-quality sound;
    • the ability to separately configure each of the headphones;
    • the ability to make the headphones impervious to external noise, and, conversely, it is possible to skip external sound into the auditory canal by simply swiping your finger across the touch pad of the headphones.

    And these headphones are waterproof and shockproof, you can swim in them without fear of losing. You can also dive, but not deeper than 1 meter. Under water, the touch control is turned off.

    Despite the fact that the headphones do not have wires, they do not fall out of the ears even with very active movement. In order to increase the number of applications, developers have released an API.

    What else?

    Using Bragi Dash, you can track the concentration of oxygen in the blood, receive notifications when the level of CO is increased, and communicate during training.

    According to the developers, the headphones can even record user injuries. And if you wish, you can enable the online translator function, and communicate with foreign interlocutors. If notifications come to the phone, the headphones inform their owner about this.

    Headphones are compatible with both Android and iOS.

    In general, Bragi Dash (they have a competitor - Samsung Gear iConX) It's hard to call just headphones. This is a smart system that can replace both a wireless headset and a fitness tracker, and much more. The device only doesn’t know how to make coffee, but that’s not a problem - smart coffee makers are making coffee now, just to wake up the owner :)
