Today we are completing a fundraising campaign for the production of a compact, programmable, split Ultimate Hacking Keyboard, and I want to tell you what we managed to do.
At the moment, we have collected more than 237 thousand dollars. As soon as we collected the target amount, $ 200K, all the software and electronic circuits of the project became available as Open Source under the GPL v3 license.
After collecting the target amount, we added an additional goal - $ 230 thousand and, upon reaching it, we made available color keyboard options. The colors were selected at a vote in which 430 people took part, and here are 4 winners:
The next additional goal is $ 250 thousand, and if for the remaining 10 hours we manage to achieve it, then everyone who ordered the keyboard will receive a free set of tools for UHK:
