HBO directed a series about rebellious cars

The closer the singularity, the more relevant the topic of artificial intelligence and its place in our future. Now the HBO channel has taken up this topic (more precisely, returned to it), having made a remake of the 1973 classic science fiction "Westworld":

The plot of the original :

The Western World is one of three gigantic theme parks built on the remains of American nature. There is also the Roman world and the world of the Middle Ages. For $ 1,000 a day, tourists can have fun to the best of their needs and appetites.

Robots that inhabit these amusement parks can be raped, killed, loving, shooting, chopping with a sword. You can even make friends with them. They never give back or experience emotion.

But suddenly, something goes wrong in the debugged attraction mechanism. A computer problem is spreading like a plague. Robots start a rebellion ...

The series was staged by Jonathan Nolan (screenwriter for The Dark Knight, Interstellar, and the series Person of Interest). Screenplay by Jonathan Nolan and Michael Crichton. Produced by JJ Abrams, composer Ramin Javadi.

Starring: Ben Barnes, Ed Harris, Anthony Hopkins, James Marsden, Thandie Newton, Rodrigo Santoro.

The series will be shown in 2016.

PS From a recent on the same topic, I highly recommend watching "Terminator 5" " From the Car " by Alex Garland.
