    The main problem is that many consider the development of an online store the end point of the path. “Now we get to it and the golden era begins, money flows like a river, customers start going to the site, add goods to the basket, orders will pour in and life will get better.” This is of course one of the extremes, but in the end, the majority of people have a picture in their head when they are just planning to enter this business. Not in vain, in folklore, which is our heritage, very often desires came true “at the command of the pike”, because this is laid down in us at the program level, the desire to achieve large goals, in an easy way.

    Business can adhere to the same desires, because it employs the same people, with the same mentality and common life values. In most cases, this approach does not work.

    Imagine that you want to grow a crop. You bought seeds, dug up the garden, prepared the soil, soaked it with the right amount of substance needed for growth, and sowed the seeds. After which they left for six months and returned, hoping to harvest a gorgeous crop, but instead, you see nothing, it turns out the seeds have not sprouted, due to lack of moisture, insufficient care and all your efforts went to dust.

    It would seem that everyone understands that, depending on the seeds that we sowed, there are different conditions, the fulfillment of which leads to an increase in yield and to obtain a result. But when it comes to the online store, for some reason, many surrender precisely at the sowing stage, when the online store is developed and the real work is only to be done with it, to grow the customer base and promote it. This may be due to the fact that the company does not have an employee who must deal with the site and no one just has time to solve a new pool of tasks. Or due to the fact that business owners did not get such an effect, because the goal was to create a website and now it has been achieved, but we need to work further. “Do something?     And in this case, lack of time, lack of experience, lack of staff, leads to the fact that the site does not develop, does not generate income, prompting an idea, but was it worth it at all? Why did we spend N-thousand rubles on its development? Maybe this is not an option for our business? What do we do now? And besides this, the person who has to make such decisions has other tasks and he decides to put this issue in the far box, because the morning of the evening is wiser.     Here you can list many other points that you can’t see for yourself without devoting all your working time to the site, or to someone from the outside who is not familiar with business processes within the company.

    In fact, the situation can only be assessed by making some efforts and realizing what comes of it. It’s not a fact that in the first couple of months the results of the site manager’s work will be visible, but in this case at least something needs to be done. Try to use different approaches, assess the situation, get feedback from these attempts, analyze the results and change the motion vector. A journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step and the development of an online store is this first step, but there is no need to stop there. This is hard work that brings investment only after a lot of work and time has been invested.
