The Moscow Arbitration Court has filed a lawsuit against Profit LLC, Elektrotekhprom LLC, Argo LLC, Majesta Plus LLC, as well as Ivan Sergeyevich Nemkin, the Kommersant newspaper reported . Apple accuses them of illegal use of intellectual property, trademarks and sale of fake goods.
The main complaints were caused by the sites apl-msk.ru, apples-msk.ru, apple-msk.ru, apple.msk.ru, applemsk.ru, apples.msk.ru, applesmsk.ru, which are managed by Ivan Nemkin.
At the end of 2013 and the beginning of 2014, Apple experts conducted test purchases in the above-mentioned online stores of Runet. It was found that they were selling counterfeit goods.
Earlier, Apple already tried to stop the unfair use of its name. Its lawyers appealed to the management of Yandex with a request to remove the offending sites from Yandex.Market . However, “Yandex” said that on this issue “came a law firm that could not confirm its authority”
“Samsung, Sony, Miele, Delonghi are actively fighting companies that use their trademarks without legal rights, not only on the Internet, but also in offline stores and markets,” said a representative of the Association of Trading Companies and Manufacturers of Electrical Appliances and computer technology Anton Guskov.
