Hello, Habr! This spring, all Omsk IT professionals have a holiday: in March, the Google Developer Group Omsk community conducted a StudyJam for Android Beginners , where they learned the basics of Java and Android. The course aroused great interest - 70 participants at the start, 25 of which successfully completed all the tasks of the course and the final exam .
Our training took place in the form of a self-view online course from Googleand analysis of any practical issues with Android experts from Omsk IT companies. Pupils, students, employees of IT companies took part in the course, and everyone, everyone, had extremely positive impressions and had a desire to continue their studies. Well, if there is a desire - why not satisfy the demand for knowledge? We are pleased to present the second part of the training program - StudyJam Android Development Workshop!
In a practical course, we will do our own open source projects. Classes will be held in April and May. To participate, you need to know the basics of Java, be able to read technical documentation in English and have a laptop that meets the requirements of Android Studio .
To successfully complete the course, it is enough to devote to training 2-3 hours a week (at any time convenient for you), as well as once a week to come to the university for live communication with experts and other participants.
As a result, you will learn how to develop business applications for Android in practice, master modern tools and approaches to developing mobile applications, meet interesting people, and get a lot of positive emotions as a bonus.
In order to become a participant in the course, you must register through a special form. The starting organizational meeting will take place this Saturday (April 9) from 11:30 to 13:05, at the address: Omsk, Prospekt Mira, house 55a (1st building of Omsk State University). There we will tell you all the details of the upcoming training and answer any of your questions.
