Apple fixed important vulnerabilities in OS X

    Apple released OS X 10.10.2, closing 54 vulnerabilities as part of the APPLE-SA-2015-01-27-4 update. Most of the closed vulnerabilities allow attackers to execute arbitrary code in OS X, including with system privileges. Apple also fixed a dangerous vulnerability called Thunderstrike that could compromise OS X security in the very early stages of boot (OS X bootkit). APPLE-SA-2015-01-27-4 update fixes multiple OS vulnerabilities that were publicly disclosed by a team of specialists from Google Project Zero.
