Children of corn, or quadrocopters again on guard

While drones in Argentina are looking for undeclared mansions , and in the UK for car thieves in the bushes , North Dakota police are also on the sidelines.

Four teenagers who were accused of drunk driving were unable to hide in the corn field from the alert camera of the Qube quadrocopter. The system, among other things, is equipped with a thermal imager that allows you to work at any time of the day and look for people in the thickets.

Many still fear that such gadgets will allow the police to spy on them. But in this case, the use of a quadrocopter is completely legal: after all, they were not looking for “someone”, but for the suspect, and then right after the crime was committed.
