General Motors will equip some Cadillac models with wireless phone chargers

The automotive industry remains a very conservative industry, which is only confirmed by the fact that a whole trifling news about the appearance of wireless charging in a separate Cadillac model was devoted to a whole press release . But since others do not even have that, let us turn our attention to this event.

The video shows the Cadillac ATS, which will be available this fall (sedan and coupe):

The compartment for recharging smartphones with a wireless power module is hidden behind the center console. There you can see a whole USB port for recharging, obviously all other phone models. Of the other modern chips of the model - an LTE module with Wi-Fi distribution capabilities and a three-month trial of 3 GB (is it not enough for Cadillac?).
