Chrome Remote Desktop extension now supported on Ubuntu and Debian
Google has announced that the Chrome plugin, which allows users to access other computers through a browser, now works on Ubuntu and Debian. The plugin itself was released back in 2012 and is already supported on Windows and Mac OS, and an Android app has recently been released .
You can download the extension in the Chrome Web Store, and instructions can be found in Google Help. The setup process on Linux is not as simple as on other systems: first, the user needs to manually create a separate virtual desktop session. Possible problems are described on the Google forum , where you can ask questions.
