Site registration: now for 1000 rubles

For several months now, the government in Russia has been selflessly devising how to more reliably hug a favorite cluster - IT. There are payment restrictions, and locks without trial, and well-known server dredges for a long time. A new trend is registration . There are already 2 such bills, one has already been passed in the first reading by the State Duma, and the second is hanging between the Government and the Federation Council.

And - meet - the third!
It is called "On the creation of sites and the placement of information on them", introduced by his member of the Federation Council from the Kirov region, a certain Oleg Kazakovtsev. I probably missed something, and this is a prominent figure in the IT community, a beacon of science and business, an expert on the problems and aspirations of a simple Russian IT specialist. Shame on me, illiterate.

The most remarkable detail of this law, which undoubtedly distinguishes it from all others, was the offer to site owners to independently pay all the expenses of the state for the creation and maintenance of the registry. So far, we are talking about a one-time state duty in the amount of 1000 rubles at registration, but I have no doubt that soon enough those who want to make this payment will appear annually. Yes, the sanction for non-registration within 6 months is simple: blocking via ILV.

How simple is it, damn it! In RuNet only about 6 million sites. At 1000r each - it will be 6,000,000,000 rubles. Under 200 million dollars. Like a bush.
Who doubted that we had “strong business executives” up there? Strong definitely, and only household!

First, the state elephant in a china shop slightly trampled on individual entrepreneurs, accidentally thawing them almost by half, now is the turn of the webmaster? And this ... "specialist", before climbing into this topic, did not think how much the number of sites in RuNet would decrease?

Several dozens of sites have personally been registered for me. Almost all of them are non-profit, they are not monetized in any way. They are lying around quietly on one of the servers, they don’t ask for food, people go there, read something, write something. Apparently, they consider them useful for themselves. I just looked at one - 1,200 unique pages a day, 5.5 pages viewed per visitor on average. There is no advertising at all, the site does not sell anything, the topic is completely non-profit. For domain renewal I pay 95 rubles a year - and to hell with it, I do not mind it. But to register, and even for 1000r - bald horseradish! I would rather strangle them all, except for a couple of the latter, which are of particular interest to me, and which will have to be re-registered in .com.

It's amazing how far the author of 9.5 rules turned out to be right.doing IT business in Russia. Yes, it already looked great right then, but it’s not so! It seems that the authorities took these rules for themselves as a roadmap.
