New winter version of Simple Business (graphs, access rights, formulas and more in CRM) and an iOS application

    It's time to make preparations for the winter, and Simple Business has released a new large-scale version 1.8.3.0. "Paris". Major changes in the CRM-module: graphs, new access rights, calculated fields (formulas), simplified client card, added line numbering, automatic task creation for each client from the client base, metro-style design for video lessons, video conferences, redesign windows "Files", "Quick Launch" and more than 200 other changes.

    The long-awaited Simple Business application for iPhone, iPad has been added to the new Windows version . It can be found either in the search by the name "Simple Business" from the device, or by the link . Android app released recently, and now the version for iOS also caught up with him. Both applications have somewhat limited functionality so far - you can view news (comments on tasks, notifications, incoming letters), tasks, information about employees, contacts, files, comment on tasks, write e-mail, mark comments with categories. Moreover, you can work offline with the data that was downloaded before. The next versions of both applications with the ability to send files to tasks are already approaching. Then task creation and work with CRM tables will be added.

    Another nice addition was the expanded mode of technical support for Simple Business. Now, user requests are accepted until 23:00 Moscow time. This is done so that customers can calmly after the working day see the program, ask interesting questions that will be answered by competent specialists.

In the new version, the client card has become easier and more understandable. In addition to the client base, there are blanks and other tables that are useful for accounting and statistics in the organization: project archive, orders, warehouse, marketing materials, there is even a library, there are about 14 ready-made tables in total. The workpiece selection window has changed. Under each blank there is a brief description of why it can be used and, of course, there is an “Empty form” for creating your own table.

    Excel lovers
    The CRM table in "Simple Business" from Excel is fundamentally different in that it can maintain a common customer base, but at the same time it’s flexible to configure managers access and at the same time prohibit import - protection, and you can call the client directly from the database, send SMS, e- mail - all of these communications in Simple Business are built-in. But the tables lacked graphs - they appeared in the new version. Beautiful informative graphs that are built according to the specified period of time and by the specified numerical values. On the graph, you can, for example, see how much sales this month for a particular product or how many contracts have been concluded this week, and so on. Moreover, once configured parameters for the schedule, you can save or make several settings for different parameters, and then call up the desired setting, and the schedule will be automatically rebuilt.

    New access rights
    Updated permissions in CRM. Now you can set any type of access at the row and column level. For example, you can make the manager see only the entries added by him. Or, so that the manager sees only those records for which the value in the "Status" field is "Interested" and so on. That is, if an organization has several levels of work with a client, at each level it is possible to flexibly differentiate access for managers so that they only see their part of the client base and cease to see some client when he moves to another level.

    A few more "chips" in CRM
    Computed fields appeared in the tables: you can make a field in which the sum (or any other expression) will be automatically calculated by the values ​​from two other fields, for example. How to do it, you can seehere . Now you can configure the automatic creation of a task for each client from the client base for storage, for example, correspondence for this client, files, and so on. For a field of type "Date and time", you can now specify the display format (show only the date, only time, and date, and time in one or different columns).     Video tutorials "flew into the clouds"
    In version 1.8.3.0. some windows redesigned (video tutorials, video conferencing, launch window). For example, the video tutorial window is now in a metro style (Windows 8 style). And video lessons are now not downloaded to the computer, but are shown immediately in the built-in browser. True, you won’t be able to watch videos without the Internet, but they don’t download to your computer; video tutorials are now “in the clouds”. And a calendar appeared in the video conferencing window to see the dates of scheduled conferences, under the calendar there are statistics on the duration and number of conference participants.

    Convenient file table
    Information about all task files is now in the form of a table. You can see who, when he created and last changed the file, what is its size and format. Immediately in the table you can find the file by any parameter, open it, update, save it to another place on the computer, open the folder with the file, see the history of changes, copy the link, add it to Favorites. Plus, you can now add a file to “Favorites” by simply moving the file with the mouse. The ability to add to “Favorites” has now appeared for each program object (task, project, table, file, etc.).
