Android Multi Window

The company Ixonos showed a demo video with its new product - multi-window mode works on a tablet running Android. Nexus 10 with Jelly Bean 4.2 acts as a test sample.

As you can see, the same operations can be performed on windows as on desktop systems: open, close, move, maximize, minimize, resize (plus global operations, such as "align proportionally" or "over the grid"). Subjective sensation - it works really fast (except that resizing is a bit creepy), despite the fact that such heavy applications like Google Earth and YouTube work together, and Angry Birds is launched in parallel with them. How this affects the battery is not said.

Ixonos development is not a “downloadable program”. The company is negotiating with OEMs to license its “leading electronics manufacturers," so we will probably be able to see the new Android face soon, not only on Samsung devices.
