SJ-meetup "Functional modeling with the use of options"

Typically, the lion's share of IT product requirements are models of the behavior and interaction of the system with the environment. On July 18, at a mitap in SuperJob, our system analysts talked about functional modeling with a focus on the technology of creating use cases. We discussed the canonical approach, the non-canonical approach, compared with other practitioners of functional modeling.

Catherine Evstifeeva opened the mitap , a system analyst at Superjob with the theme “Using the Use Case in Practice” .

    Program:

    1. Definition of UC, its advantages and place in the classification of requirements.
    2. UC forms and their composition
    3. Levels of use cases and the rules for grouping them.
    4. Rules for creating a good use case.
    5. Practical tasks.

Sergey Nuzhnenko darkboatman - Leading System Analyst Superjob spoke on the topic “Basics of functional modeling with the use of use cases .

    Program:

    1. The system, its structure and functions. Types of IT systems.
    2. Overview of the main techniques of functional modeling of IT systems.
    3. Use cases - advantages and applicability.
    4. Use cases and structural analysis.
    5. Use cases for modeling activities.
    6. Use cases for defining the boundaries and volume of the system.
    7. Use cases for detailed behavior modeling.
    8. Other practices of functional modeling in comparison with Use options.

    Presentation of

Ksenia Lyutova - System Analyst Superjob spoke with the topic “What happens when you try to invent a bicycle (a story about usage options based on real events)” .

    Program:

    1. How we learned to describe the behavior of the system: from messages in Skype to 600-sheet documents.
    2. The customer does not understand the requirements: who is to blame and what to do?
    3. Why did the developers prefer to talk to me instead of reading my documents?
    4. Conclusions and recommendations (how to do it and how not to).
