Canadian sells his house for Bitcoins

The fact that someone is selling their house is not surprising. The fact that a house is being sold by publishing an advertisement on a property for sale / purchase of real estate is also not unusual. Now, probably, more real estate is sold and bought in this way than by traditional methods. But the currency for which the house is being sold is already unusual - in any case, for transactions of this kind. The fact is that a Canadian sells a house for Bitcoin, a cryptocurrency, which was written about more than once or twice on Habré.
One would think that this is an experiment, that the house costs a little. But no - the price of this real estate is 405 thousand Canadian dollars (it is clear that the house is being sold for the Bitcoin equivalent. In rubles it is 12,182,996). By the way, at the current rate, the house can be purchased for 6700 bitcoins. So this is a fairly large deal in the world of cryptocurrency, now payments of this size are still infrequently made there.
Why Bitcoin? There is a very logical explanation that the seller himself gives. He is going to implement a couple of projects (I think, on the Web), and therefore he needs just a cryptocurrency. In addition, according to the seller, the transaction will avoid the cost of interest on the transfer of a large amount from one account to another (and if the transaction is with the person of another country, the percentage will be even higher). If you use Bitcoin, you can save a very tangible amount.
It may well be that this is only the first such transaction, and already in the not too distant future, one of the representatives of the habrasociety will buy or sell real estate for Bitcoin.
