Habra Kadabra - literacy support for authors of articles on Habrahabr

    Hello! Today I want to present you my new project, which will once again help (I really hope!) To make Habrahabr a little better.

    imageHabra Kadabra - an extension for the browser (currently available for Chrome, Firefox in the queue), which allows you to conduct a separate from comments stream of edits to articles.

    Habra Kadabra was created for the grammar-nation of connoisseurs of the Russian language, for authors of articles, as well as all users of Habrahabr who are tired of unnecessary comments about errors in articles. Remember Orphus and Ctrl + Enter? The same idea.

    Background

    - The authors do not read their articles or do it with insufficient thoroughness;
    - comments about errors in the text are traditionally taken coldly, the comment rating and the karma of its author usually merge;
    - comments on Habrahabr cannot be deleted, you can only edit; the author will once correct the text of the article - the comment will hang forever, polluting the information space.

    As you can see, there is one negative. But a holy place is never empty! Any kind of vakkum should be filled sooner or later.

    Opportunities

    First of all, to use the extension, you must be logged in to Habrahabr.

    Habra Kadarba adds a flat list of edits to the end of the article, after the comment form. Edits are visible to everyone who has the extension, only their authors and the author of the article can delete them.

    To add a new edit, select a piece of text (or a title, but only one) of the article, press Ctrl + Enter - the key combination that I so often refer to in the blind hope of support from the next resource. So simple!

    Habra Kadabra does not work with comments to articles. Yes, this is just not necessary, so everything is fine! :)

    Conclusion

    I hope that I guessed the wishes of the habrauser, and Habr Kadabra will do a good job. I understand that the extension may not find popularity due to the fact that for the work it must be installed by both the author and the readers (moreover, only one browser is supported so far), but I hope for your support. If you have ideas, comments, bug reports, hate rays , leave them in the comments, send them to me in PM or through the feedback form . I would be very happy for a constructive dialogue.

    Let's make a handy tool together!
