How to forward packages with lithium batteries?

First it said CEO Shipito on the service online, attaching the text at the time unpublished official USPS statement.
The Internet argued whether the ban would apply or not, but the USPS official statement put everything in its place, backing up the news with an update of the document on sending lithium batteries on the official website.
Mail Forwarders were waiting. In the early days, no one made a statement that the transfer of iPads and iPhones would be stopped, everyone was waiting for direct instructions from their transport partners, but first Shipito, and then Banderolka with a number of smaller forwarders, reported that sending items containing lithium batteries, they stop "until the circumstances are clarified."
Is it time to panic? No, it's too early.
Did all forwarders prostrate themselves before the strange decision of the USPS, which, incidentally, is connected with the crash of UPS aircraft in particular (while UPS sends batteries as if nothing had happened) and resigned to the fact that the following goods will no longer be sent through them?

Fortunately for us, not all, there are several noteworthy forwarders that I want to talk about, capable of sending your favorite electronic gadgets even after the May ban of USPS.
I have had positive experience with both forwarders, so I can safely recommend them.
1) Shopfans.ru The
service, based in Pennsylvania, uses services from BWW (Brokers WorldWide) as one of the options for the delivery of parcels (in addition to the usual USPS Priority / Express).
In this regard, you can send a package with gadgets containing lithium batteries through shopfans (using BWW-Priority as the delivery method), but the number of such devices in the package should be no more than two.
Well, for many it will be enough for many to have the possibility of delivery of one device, given that shopfans has a very simple tariff schedule, which makes it possible to send single goods profitably.
In addition, the cost of sending the BWW-Priority service is less than the USPS Priority tariff, which will also play into your hands.
So if you need to deliver 1-2 electronic devices, then you can safely use this forwarder.
2) Polar Express
A well-known in narrow circles forwarder from New Jersey, who gained popularity with low shipping rates and “interesting” customs in Kaliningrad.
"Polar explorers", as they were dubbed on the network, also officially confirmedthe ability to deliver “lithium” parcels, though such parcels will cost $ 3 more, which, you see, is very humane, given that large forwarders generally refused to send parcels of this kind.
In the bottom line, there are at least two large forwarders ready to accept your gadgets for shipment, so it’s too early to panic and you can safely continue to order your favorite electronics.
And in 2013, USPS plans to revise the policy for sending lithium parcels, and perhaps everything will return to their places.
PS if anyone else knows the services that have not refused to send lithium batteries at the moment, then please share them in the comment.
PS2 If you have any questions about the above services, then as far as possible I will try to answer them. I feel it will not be easy, being on a business trip in the Far East ...
