Ubuntu EducationPack is intended as an addition to the main distributions of Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Xubuntu and Lubuntu versions 11.10, the main purpose of which is to provide the ability to install
educational software without access to the Internet. The disk contains both programs and all necessary dependent packages, and also includes all updates for Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Xubuntu and Lubuntu as of March 25, 2012.

Thus, it becomes possible to use Ubuntu Linux for educational purposes as an alternative full-fledged solution, which includes an operating system and a repository with everything necessary for the educational process of software, even in the absence of the Internet.

The disk contains more than 110 applicationsthat meet the requirements of programs of both junior, secondary schools and lyceums, and higher education institutions, such as institutes and universities.
