Google celebrates Robert Noyce's 84th birthday

Today's hero of the occasion is none other than, alas, Robert "Bob" Neuss , the co-founder of the microchip , who left us . After founding Fairchild Semiconductor and Intel , he became a mentor to young engineers, thereby earning himself the name "Mayor of Silicon Valley."
