Proxmox VE 2.0 beta released!

Colleagues, I have very good news for you today. The public beta of the second version of the magnificent free virtualization platform Proxmox VE has been released. If earlier Proxmox (version 1.x) could compete with VMware when used in small companies, today it has swung at least medium ones.

    What is Proxmox?

    - This is a free virtualization platform (Open Source, GNU AGPL v3)
    - This is the KISS principle (Proxmox consists of a small number of transparently interacting components: Debian as a base, a patched Linux kernel, KVM and the Proxmox environment, which includes a web interface, a synchronization daemon and console management utilities)
    - This is a simple installation
    - This is a convenient and functional Web-based interface (without having to install a client)
    - This is reliability
    - This is the ability to use existing Linux administration skills, without the need for retraining
    - This is possible The need to take advantage of Linux, which may or may not be provided by the Proxmox VE Web interface (for example, DRBD)
