Sony reduced prices for PS3 game consoles

In order to increase the sales of their gaming consoles, Sony has decided to reduce prices by about 20%. The company's management decided to lower prices after it was reported that over the last month the number of consoles sold had fallen to a five-year low. Perhaps the price cuts will really restore the interest of gamers to the consoles of the corporation. Yes, and "the days of bygone days," including the hacking of Sony servers, its hunt for Geohot-a, which ended in calls to boycott the products of the corporation, all this had a negative impact on the level of PS3 sales.

Price reduction is relevant for all markets, including the US and Europe. For CIS countries, prices will also be reduced, but as we know, sellers can have their own opinion about everything that is happening, so who knows if PS3 prices will fall in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and other countries of the Commonwealth.

As for the main markets, the 160-gigabyte PS3 will be sold for only $ 250 (this is in the USA), and at 250 euros (this is in Europe, previously - 299 euros). A bit unequal prices, but what to do. Probably, on eBay you can expect the appearance of American consoles at low prices - so who has not yet acquired a PS3, it's time.

In addition, the 320-gigabyte version will be sold for $ 300 - US, 300 euros (previously - 349 euros) - Europe. Official representatives of the corporation said that prices for CIS countries are the same as for European countries. But, as mentioned above, domestic sellers may have an opinion on this matter.
