Canon DSLR Android Remote Control App

Thanks to the DSLR Controller program , it became possible to control the Canon EOS camera directly from an Android device (2.3.3+). By connecting a USB cable, you get a preview on the screen of the tablet (about 15 fps) and all the control buttons. You can even select points for focusing with your finger (!) On the touchscreen.

    Supported cameras : Canon 600D, 550D, 60D, 50D, 7D, 5D mk II, 1D mk IV.

Supported smartphones / tablets : Samsung Galaxy S2, (firmware KG1 / 2.3.4 or newer, you need to buy an additional USB Host cable), Motorola Xoom (USB Host cable), Acer Iconia A500, Asus Transformer, Toshiba Thrive, other tablets on Honeycomb .

By the way, DSLR Controller is a great example of differences in programming for iOS and Android. At the moment, it is simply impossible to make an application to connect the iPhone directly to a digital camera via USB, but for Android, please.

The author of the program apologizes for putting the unfinished beta version on sale, but he was forced to do so by popular demand.
