I watched with interest the development of events at WWDC 2011, and almost at the time of the announcement of Apple’s iCloud service I received this letter:
What an interesting coincidence :)
I sent an invite request almost immediately after the announcement of Google Music via an American proxy, because from Russian ip- addresses were not allowed there. However, now I got to the service without any problems.
At first, the service offered to add “free” songs, but I skipped this step and decided to go directly to adding tracks from the computer.
To do this, you need to download a certain “Music Manager”.
Pleased with the Mac version.
It was not possible to check on Windows - the mini-installer downloaded, but during the installation “download failed” cursed, and that was all. Repeated attempt of results did not give.
After installation, there is a simple setup, and the music begins to flood into the cloud. More than 20,000 songs, as promised, does not fill: After this window, Music Manager disappears, only the icon appears in the menu bar, after clicking on it the system settings are launched and prefpane is loaded, where we observe the process of filling songs: It is noteworthy that the buttons like “ Stop downloading ”I did not find. You can only stop by turning off the application. And it pours slowly. Damn slow. Apple, by the way, has just been warned about this :) But back to the topic:

Music is also loaded slowly. Apparently, not one I just received an invite: The service can edit information about the song - useful: The creation of playlists, drag & drop, and so on. In general, it works. However, it’s not very like a music player, the same simple player or last.fm seems to me much more convenient. Unfortunately, now there is no android device at hand, and I can’t check the feature with synchronization :) I will try to make it as quick as possible and update the post.
