Last night, November 25, among other members of the expert council, we were at the Runet Prize award ceremony, in fact, I would like to share my impressions.
This event took place almost in the very center of Moscow, and already on the way to the Oktyabr cinema (which is on Novy Arbat, if anyone doesn’t know) there were cars with plates broadcasting the ceremony and showing the importance of this event. At the entrance, at the very bottom of the stairs, pretty girls stood next to the security guard, making sure that no one passed through, of course, the entrance was by invitation cards (which, by the way, were originally made on thick cardboard), on top was a crowd of journalists and the press , which filmed on camera and photographed almost everyone who went up.
Going inside, the first thing that caught my eye was the DJs at the table of the Runet Prize. Music played loudly, girls from "mail.ru" carried champagne to guests. A press conference was held nearby, which was hardly heard by anyone because of loud music.
The host of the ceremony was a journalist from Ekho Moskvy Alexander Plushenko and Tina Kandelaki, who didn’t part with the iPad they handed over to the event, and Tina, in addition, demonstratively showed everyone her new iPhone 4, with which she was photographed on stage and spoke with her mother during the broadcast.
The ceremony was, as promised, somewhat "different," or as they said in the advertisement, "this time everything will be different." At the very beginning, the Runet Prize was opened by the Minister of Communications and Mass Media Igor Shchegolev, whom the presenters first of all asked themselves to demonstratively photograph on Tina’s iPhone.
The whole #premiaruneta ceremony was very similar to a solid twitter-wall, the hosts said the word “Twitter” at least 20 times. Also, for the first time in the history of Runet, Tina Kandelaki sent a live tweet, after which many of those present in the hall also decided to “light up” on the screen. President Dmitry Medvedev also sent his congratulations via Twitter to the winners, which was shown to everyone present on the big screen. "Unfortunately, . Therefore, in absentia.
