First official W3C CSS 2.1 Test Suite test results


    Recently, Internet Explorer 9 Beta public test data was announced in the official W3C CSS 2.1 Test Sute . Microsoft's browser showed good results with 97.7% of all tests.

    Today, Apple Safari 5.0.2 MacIntel’s public browser testing data has become available with user-agent: Mozilla / 5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10_6_4; en-us) AppleWebKit / 533.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version / 5.0 .2 Safari / 533.18.5). Testing conducted by the browser developers themselves, the data is published on the official W3C website . Testing results show passing 85% of all tests.

    Test results of other browsers are not yet available, but they will be posted soon, since within the W3C working group an agreement was reached on the publication of test results by all browsers.

    In the meantime, judging by the tests, Microsoft’s browser implements the CSS 2.1 standard better than webkit and Apple Safari 5.0.2.
