HDD Spinpoint MT2 2.5-inch 1TB released

Deliveries of the new portable hard drive MT2 Spinpoint with a form factor of 2.5 inches and a volume of 1TB have started. This model is positioned as the optimal solution for installation in digital TVs, various set-top boxes, external portable storage, etc.

MT2 Spinpoint uses 333GB wafers, which not only allows you to store large amounts of data, but also provides higher drive performance and reliability. MT2 is 20% more profitable than similar models when comparing read / write performance and 4% when comparing power consumption indicators. In addition, the drive has an impact resistance of 400G (2ms) during operation and 800g (1ms) during standstill.
