About half a year ago, we posted on the website a beta version of the Update Center DublGIS 1.0.9. This version was more stable, more convenient, and in some ways even more pleasant than the Update Center, which at that time was installed by hundreds of thousands of DoubleGIS users.
However, with the advent of this beta version, we made a final and irrevocable decision: never let it go on release. Instead, we took up the integration of the Update Center directly into the DoubleGIS program (shell), and just yesterday we released the DoubleGIS version 3.0.7 with the integrated Update Center.
The release also added a “resume” of distributions in case of disconnection from the Internet at the time of updating DubGIS data.
As for the old Update Center, if you have it installed, open it and update the program shell. In this case, DublGIS will upgrade to version 3.0.7 and automatically delete the previous Update Center.
And since the Update Center is now part of the DublGIS shell, there is no separate shortcut on the desktop and in the Start menu for it. You can open it through the main menu DublGIS.
Integrating the Update Center into the shell is a very important and expected step for us. We plan to further revise the version of DublGIS 3.0, making changes to the interface, which will certainly make working with the program easier and more convenient.
