Concealment of not interesting ("harmful") material / publication
Good day.
After the next viewing of the Habr and searching for the necessary article, which I saw earlier on it, the thought-question once again got into my head. Namely: Why is it impossible to hide topics that are not of interest to the user on the hub?
This issue has already been raised somehow, but in a slightly different direction. We considered the “unsubscription” from the blog as a whole, but somehow it froze.
The essence of the flight of my fantasies is as follows - for the entire time I was on this resource, I personally came across the fact that after reading some article, I realized that this was either complete garbage, or did not interest me at all, but only led me astray . And even more often - there was a desire to generally no longer stumble on a particular publication. Although, after a little time has passed, something that I don’t like or enrages will go far to the second pages, and these publications are not remembered until the very moment until you start looking for something thematic. And here tons of what you once read pop up, but you can't understand from the headline. whether you read once and whether this is what you need or not. And it all starts from the very beginning - shoveling material that you previously rated as useless for you. And here more and more often you start to think, and what if you hide something that you are not interested at all. That would definitely not come across anymore.
On the other hand, I understand that there is a functional codenamed “Favorites”. But this chip does not give what I need in full. In my Favorites I only mark what I am afraid of losing, or what I consider necessary to read, but later.
I don’t know if such thoughts of the community members visited or not, but I’m interested to know the opinions of the others. Maybe I'm missing something, maybe I'm driving. I understand the word “Search”, “Tag”, etc. however, remembering everything, or correctly formulating what is required does not always work out ... But it all appears and appears (I mean the complete garbage, which I had previously rated as not worthy of attention)
On the other hand - at the moment I have found only one way out for myself: karma for topics. Neglecting topics that are useless to me removes some of the problems, but not all at once, because sometimes the article is very good and I can not afford to put a minus for it just because of that. that for me it is useless. And it turns out that I can’t always rely on color indicators of my attitude to publication ...
That’s, like, like everyone else. I will be glad to all opinions and a healthy discussion.
Threat. I have no idea how my imagination will affect performance. I do not know the structure of the database and queries.
