Habr and spelling comments

Once again, I came across a discussion in the comments of the type: which author is illiterate, here are the number of mistakes made, to fix this or that article. In this discussion, they usually get hooked on some trifle and a sort of “sheet” of absolute nonsense “off topic” appears on two or three screens. At one time, the public began to minus the mention of “habracat,” which nevertheless corrected the situation and the significant majority of comments in topics no longer begin with the phrase “habracat, plizz”, and as a result, if a person forgot to roll it, then he this politely reminded in PM. In the case of spelling, the exact opposite situation. Some simply cannot tolerate finding a comma, or a period, or a spelling of a word. No, I do not mind, on the contrary - it’s right to correct. But ... this is not written in private messages, but left as the first (second) comment.

From here came the idea of a small service for comments: for each article, a person can leave notes on errors found via a link similar to comments. Initially, these comments are hidden, and only those who really help and or want to help find errors will open this service and unsubscribe. In other places, such comments should be harshly suppressed (but in the presence of such a service, the public, in principle, will stop it on their own). Nobody cancels the reward system of the pros and cons of those who help to correct errors.

The pluses are obvious. Comments become cleaner, without the so-called “overhead information”. But at the same time, it remains possible to leave comments to provide information about errors and everyone can see who left a comment on which topic, and accordingly “find out the relationship” for some of the points.
