The title is a metaphor. The post is not about cooking :) It will be about polls, which, as it turned out, got a lot of people.
In general, maybe a button accordion, but I will venture to express my vision of how polls can be saved and made them less intrusive.
Since polls are not full-fledged texts that are interesting to read, it is not logical to include them - polls - in the general habrant.
It is better to allocate space for them on the main page on the right. Above or below the tag cloud. Broadcast there one of the most rated polls, and under it put a link like “Even before the polls line”, which will lead to the polls page.
