Instant Marketing: Corporate Cups

It's no secret that cups are a kind of fetish in all IT-offices. This is an everyday object, and a reflection of the owner’s taste, and a favorite character of flash mob about the workplace. Some programmers boast the same age as their entire career. Well-known excellent Yandex circles from the series about the moose and Pushkin. And what kind of cups do designers have? We decided to report on one interesting project from the “for ourselves” series.

Sometimes we come up with an unusual use for ordinary things. It is very interesting to saturate the space around with objects that say something about their owners, do not shout loudly, but create a certain image, atmosphere, carry hidden messages. This time we “subordinated” office cups to marketing. We thought, why not use the standard negotiation element - coffee treats - to build a dialogue with the customer?

It turns out such an “instant” marketing, when during a conversation with a client in his hands unexpectedly objects appear in his hands, confirming the information that he needs to transmit.

Several of the most common questions asked by clients at meetings were highlighted. Three questions, the answer to which is a listing, were taken as a basis:

    • Who will work on the project?
    • How will the work on the project go?
    • What is advertising on the Internet?
Our illustrator Alexander Baydin drew the answers to all these questions in a rather unusual style for himself. A total of 18 illustrations. Without thinking twice, we ordered cups for the office and a bunch of cups for employees.

Imagine, you are negotiating with a customer, he asks you:

    - And who will make me the site?
“Look at the cup in your hands ... see?” The working group consists of 6 employees. Together they will cope with any task!
“Hm ... how interesting!” in surprise pours coffee on his jacket .
    - Your partner has a cup talking about the main stages of work, and on my cup all the main types of online advertising.

Show me a client who after that will not sign the contract!

Well, actually about the construction of communications. If we drop the jokes, several rather serious messages to the consumer are sewn into this dialogue:
    • We have a lot of employees.
    • Employees of different profiles.
    • The work process is regulated and debugged.
    • We are creative people.
    • We have a coffee!
