How to make money on vending machines: business and plans

    As expected, the main thing in drawing up a business plan for a vending, like any other business, is to take into account future unavoidable expenses and expected revenues. The income from each of the vending machines consists of the following main parameters:

    • Number of service users per day
    • The number of days in a month when the device is available
    • for users (for example, if the machine is installed in a place where visitors are not on a daily basis - in business centers, at checkpoints, etc.).

If you set the price, respectively, 5, 10 and 15 rubles per glass of drink, then we get profit: 3 rubles from a glass of water without syrup, 6 and 9 rubles - with single and double syrup. Selling 100 glasses a day without syrup, 100 with syrup and 50 with double, we get 1350 rubles profit or 40 500 rubles a month.

    250 drinks per day is an annual average; while in summer small queues of thirsting constantly gathered near soda vending machines, which gives an average figure of 1 glass per minute or ~ 600 servings a day on a hot day, then in the winter under the roof of a store you should not count on its former popularity. So, 250 servings sold daily minus the monthly overheads give us - there remains 31,200 rubles of net profit per month, which “discourages” the cost of an automatic gas inlet for those same 5 months.

    And I think there is no need to explain that some amounts from the example can be significantly adjusted by life circumstances and local authorities.

    How can you significantly influence the magic of numbers in your business plan? By and large, there is only one way - and this is the main law of vending business: well-considered choice of location. Two key factors for a good choice are synergies and consumer convenience.

    Synergy

    Some types of machines may constitute an additional service in relation to the installation site.
