With organic chemistry to new frontiers
Do you know that the name of Wagner is known not only thanks to the opera of the famous composer?
And by whose name is the reaction of a silver mirror known to every student ?
What will happen to acetic aldehyde in acidic and alkaline conditions?
We tried to give you an answer to this, as well as many other questions. Now anyone interested in chemistry can study what polyethylene is made of , what can be obtained from acetone, and even how to prepare life-giving euthanasia .
We made sure to provide in the results not only the reaction itself, but also its name, as well as links to more detailed information in Wikipedia or in other directories.

Taking up its development, we studied all the products available on the market, sighed bitterly, and started working from scratch, since everything that already existed at that time did not satisfy us a little more than completely. Therefore, we had to create several completely unique components.
First, we made a query string analyzer that allows us to introduce substances for the search even to people completely unfamiliar with chemistry (when we tested our service, we suggested entering a query to a programmer friend, for which he simply rewrotea picture from a chemistry textbook into a query string - however, our analyzer easily even managed this!). Then we created a really excellent (well, what a little shy there :)) and an intelligent reactor, which now, without training, easily processes almost all the reactions of the school curriculum and a huge bunch of everything. And finally, we draw all this and present it to the user, as always, completely free and very fast - even on the most complex queries it will take no more than a tenth of a second to find out everything you need.
All this works under the control of the wonderful Debian distribution , which we are happy to recommend to you too :)
And if you are interested in more detailed information about the service, then you can look at specially prepareddescription in our help.
But this is not the limit, but rather the beginning. Unfortunately, we have not yet taught our reactor to work with cyclic compounds, but in the near future, our specialists and teachers of the country's best chemical faculty — the chemistry department of Moscow State University — are going to teach him a couple of lessons. Our plans are to educate the system in hundreds of types of reactions, condensations and rearrangements, the canonical names of substances, to show users not only reactions, but also their mechanisms, and to enable retrosynthetic analysis.
Follow our developments.
