Information on a pair of Intel motherboards based on the H55 chipset

According to Fudzilla.com , Intel DH55TC will be presented in the ATX form factor. Its features: one PCIe x16 slot, two PCIe x1 and three PCI, a gigabit network controller, four SATA ports and two eSATA. The board will be equipped with a 6-channel audio codec and 10 USB 2.0 ports. Estimated cost - up to 130 dollars.

Intel DH55HC will appear in the mATX form factor - a board with one PCIe x16 slot, two PCIe x1 and one PCI, four SATA, two eSATA, a 6-channel audio codec and as many as 11 USB 2.0 ports (6 + 5). Estimated cost - less than $ 100.

Let me remind you that the Intel H55 is a chipset for the CPU Core i3 and i5 with the Clarkdale core. The appearance of these processors is scheduled for the first quarter of 2010 and they will be the first versions of desktop CPUs with an integrated graphics processor. The expected performance should supposedly correspond to the AMD HD 4200 GPU integrated into the AMD 785G chipset (an example of the tests can be found here ).
