Now, the cropped version of Nero 9 is distributed completely free.
What circumcised, you ask? All the garbage that came with Nero Burning Rom - all sorts of video editors, photo organizers and other cover designers for CDs. They left only the functionality for copying and burning discs.

UPD: only StartSmart is available in the free version, with which you can 1) record discs 2) copy discs 3) and that's it. Burning Rom, unfortunately, is not available. This is still such a "version for the inhabitants".
