For four years, our team has grown from 3 to 70 people, there are three offices plus communication with headquarters. Therefore, along the way, I had to change both the style and the rules of work in the company. As a result, in the field of communications, this resulted in the following set of rules - some can already be found in the literature on time management, some were invented by ourselves. Perhaps this will be useful for your company. Suitable for companies where everyone has a computer and e-mail .

- The problem does not exist until you have written about it in the email . The letter is proof that you informed the boss about the problem. If the problem is with the email itself, inform the system administrator verbally. (Example: “ My phone doesn’t work, please check its functionality .”)
- In the event of disputes such as: “ I told him, but he did not answer me ”, “ I did not know ”, “ Nobody told me ”, etc. - the manager will look at the presence / absence of a letter on this issue and the date / time of departure . All letters are stored daily on our server, where the date is also indicated, and this will be a confirmation of the time of sending.
- If you wrote to someone on an important issue, but he did not answer you (see paragraph 4), then you need to check whether the letter was received by voice over the phone . The important thing is everything that concerns a person’s life (he got sick, was late, etc.), company security (theft of info, etc.), money (financial issues from ХХХ cu), large customers (from ХХХ units), power and government agencies, as well as other things at your discretion, which can significantly affect the work of the company.
- If the letter contains an assignment, a task (from the head), while the deadline is not specified - indicate in the answer yourself the deadline based on your assessment. (Example: “ I can do it by Friday 12.00 .”)
- New orders do not cancel old ones , unless the manager indicates that this is so. (Example: “ This must be done urgently until 6:00 pm, postpone everything else until tomorrow .”)
- If you do not have time for this deadline, be sure to inform the manager about it before the expiration of this deadline with the reasons and a new deadline. (Example: “ I screwed up, smoked a lot, drank coffee, read the news on the Web and couldn’t do your task on time. I can do it by the X date or ask me to be fired for my unsuitability .”)
- If you received a letter from a colleague, partner, in any case, write an answer so that he would know that an e-mail has been received . (Example: “ Ok, I understand, we think ” or “ Got it, we will answer tomorrow ”.)
- If this instruction conflicts with other works, projects, briefly describe the situation and indicate the possible time frame depending on other projects . (Example: “ Now I am working on project X, so I can’t make a date by H. Specify which is more important .”)
- If you receive an e-mail in which your address is in the “copy” field, this means that the leader, colleague wants you to be aware of the events, and if there are questions that suggest actions on your part, then you follow them . (Example: “ Everyone who received this letter should go to the human resources department and receive a bonus .”)
- If you receive an e-mail in which your address is not, it means that the manager put your address in the field “blind copy” (blind). He wants you to be aware, but does not want the person to whom he wrote the letter to know . (Example: “ Ivan Ivanovich, everyone has long known that the best antivirus is NOD32 .”)
