Flash Player 10 on smarts in October
Adobe plans to release a beta version of its 10th Flash-player for smartphones in the fall of this year. The new Flash Player 10 will be shown at the Adobe MAX 2009 conference, which will be held from October 4 to 7.
According to the company's executive director Shantanu Narayen, Adobe will release a full-fledged package that will allow mobile browsers to display sites created using Flash technology without any problems.
The new Flash player will run on Google Android, Windows Mobile, Nokia Symbian and Palm WebOS.
