Just in the blog Last.fm was published the release of a new program - Boffin . Now you can listen to music from your hard drive, creating playlists similar to Last.fm radio on the fly. A must-have program for those whose collection consists of several thousand tracks.
At the first start, Boffin will ask you to specify a login in Last.fm, will scan the files in the selected folders, and then generate a tag cloud. Now you can select one or more tags and start playback.
Unfortunately, it is not yet possible to save the generated playlists, as well as add files other than mp3 to the database.
