Little tiny function

When working on a computer, users want to know if new mail arrived without having to keep the Gmail window open. Now, while I am writing this post, in the title bar of the browser window I see something like “Gmail - Inbo ...”

Even worse, if you use Gmail through Google Apps and / or in a language that usually has longer words. You need to open a tab to find out if there is something new there.

Gmail Labs' tiny tiny feature called Title Tweaks will change the order of the title elements in the title browser and put more important information in the first place. After you enable Title Tweaks, the browser header will show something more, for example, “Inbox (3) - Gma ...”.
