Panasonic has announced a new, eighth, series of its mega-protected laptops, which includes the F8, T8 and W8 models. All devices are equipped with Qualcomm's Gobi dual-3G chipset for access to EVDO and HSPA mobile networks. Wi-Fi is still here. All laptops are equipped with a Wi-Fi 802.11n broadband module.
The most expensive ($ 2500) Toughbook F8 laptop is equipped with a 14.1-inch screen. Inside the machine is a 2.26-gigahertz Intel Core 2 Duo and 1 GB of RAM.
