Eastman Kodak Company announced the launch of the new Kodak Zi6 Pocket Video mini-camcorder. This baby can shoot video in HD-quality (720p) and is equipped with a 2.4-inch monitor.
The camera records video with 720p quality and 60 frames per second, which at the moment is the best "indicator" among such devices. Maybe the device, of course, write videos and with less quality, exactly for YouTube. Kodak has special software for uploading to this video service.
On board the Zi6, 128 MB of internal memory are available. Video is written to memory cards (up to 32 GB supported) of the SD / SDHC format.
The camcorder is powered by AA batteries (nickel-magnesium). Ordinary batteries will do, but their lifespan will be very short.
